Oh the Places We'll Go. . .

Happy First Friday of May.  I know, I know, I promised a new cruise announcement and here it is!  Bare Necessities is excited to announce a cruise for 2009 that is unlike anything we or anyone else has ever offered in a clothes-free vacation: An 8 day Halloween FantaSea cruise celebration on board the Carnival Miracle.

8 days of Halloween Fun Includes:
2 fabulous nights at Key West Fantasy Fest - October 30th and 31st

A midnight sail away Halloween Ball

Dia de los Muertos celebration in Cancun November 2nd

2 fun-filled days at sea with body painting contests, pool parties and round-the-clock entertainment

Private island beach party in the Bahamas

As you can see, this is no ordinary Bare Necessities vacation.  It is our first big ship sailing dedicated to one of America’s quintessential holidays, Halloween.   In our 19 years of clothes-free cruising, we have found that no one enjoys dressing up more than nudists - And what better than our Halloween FantaSea cruise to brush up on your body painting, costumes and merrymaking!

Key West’s Fantasy Fest has long been regarded as Florida’s answer to Mardi Gras where 70,000 people gather each year for a seven-day celebration that culminates in the annual Fantasy Fest Parade and Street dance. Our ship, the Carnival Miracle, will be docked in Key West, right in the middle of the festivities, for the best two days of this annual gala, providing our passengers with ringside seats and the best accommodations in town.  At midnight on Halloween, the party continues on board as we pull up anchor and steam toward Cancun, Mexico.

Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead, is celebrated in Mexico on November 2nd.  Music, street fairs, fun, food and fiestas surround this Latin American Halloween honoring the dearly departed!  Skeletons spirits, tricks and treats will mark our lively Day of the Dead stop in Cancun with parties on land and on the Miracle

Toss in a couple of fun days at sea and a glorious day at Half Moon Cay, our private island in the Bahamas, a little salt spray, spf 30 and sea air – stir well, and what we have concocted is an 8 day Halloween cruise like no other.

Where will YOU be on Halloween in 2009?  Watching a rerun of Charlie Brown’s The Great Pumpkin and eating candy corn?  Or will you be a part of the greatest Halloween celebration ever on the Bare Necessities FantaSea Fest ‘09 Cruise?

We expect this to be one of our most popular sailings to date.  So trick or treat yourself today and call now to book your cabin!

The May AANR Bulletin has just arrived and if you have had time to read it, you know that I am running for re-election to the AANR Board of Trustees.  I would very much like to be re-elected to a second term in order to complete some of the work I have begun, particularly work with my fellow trustee, Teresa “T”
Price.  It is our sincere wish to be re-elected in order to do just that.  We can’t do that without your vote!  If you are an AANR member, you have the opportunity to cast your votes for board members as well as president, vice president and secretary-treasurer.  Many positions in this election year are unopposed – Sadly, the two positions in our division are not.  4 very qualified individuals are running for only 2 trustee spots.  Teresa Price and I appreciate your support.   Click here for more.

Until next time, I wish you fair skies, calm seas and smooth sailing –
Naturally-

Nancy
